Smarty Plants House Party

***Please Note - The majority of indoor plants in this collection will count as 2 plants towards the delivery charge in your cart. This is due to the plants being larger and much heavier than the Perennials***


Typical Rules for Indoor Plants:

- DO NOT overwater!! - This is absolutely the number 1 cause of a poor houseplants demise. Water small amounts at a time, and usually allow it to dry out before watering again. 

- Do not repot directly into a decorative indoor pot with no drainage holes (this can easily lead to overwatering!). It is best to keep them in their plastic pots that have drainage holes, and just sit them into decorative indoor pot with a snug fit. This way the plastic pot is covered, but can be easily lifted out to get rid of any excess water that might gather at the bottom after watering. 

- Try to avoid underfloor heating, radiators, stove/fireplaces, or any other area where heat is being emitted that can directly impact/dry out your plants.

- Most plants will like a bright room, but away from direct, scorching sunlight. Any particular light preferences will be highlighted in each plants description. 

 

Please Note (Part 2!):

When Houseplants show symptoms of some kind of struggle, it can normally mean a multitude of possible causes - too dry/too wet, to sunny/too shaded, too hot/too cold, etc - the symptoms for both sides of the coin are typically the same. 

Should these houseplants give any issues or signs of struggle, please get in contact as soon as possible with photos and details of the area they are kept in, so we can try to pinpoint a possible cause and resolve the issue before it is too late.
