A late flowering perennial that provides colour and interest when many other summer perennials are starting to die down.
- From late August until October/November, narrow spikes of white bottlebrush flowers are borne on sturdy branching pale-green stems. Flowers are slightly fragrant. Flowers are later followed by lime-green seed heads that provide winter interest.
- Divided, fern-like foliage is pale green in colour, and forms an attractive dense mound from which the flowers emerge.
- Thrives best in partial shade, as too much full sun can bleach the leaves, or lead to scorch if it dries out too much. It would work well as a tall backdrop in herbaceous and mixed borders and wildlife/naturalistic gardens.
- The flowers attract a huge range of bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators, and is an important food source for the later part of the year.
- Height and Spread approx. 120-150cm x 60-90cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
