A compact, bushy variety of Giant Hyssop/Korean Mint with a long, prolific flowering time, complimented by its aromatic herby foliage.

- From late June throughout summer and autumn, masses of dark purple buds which open to lavender blue flower spikes are produced on upright purple-red stems. Deadheading regularly will prolong the flowering time until the frost.

- Its dark green foliage is tinted with purple, and is highly aromatic with a fresh aniseed or spicy mint scent, and is known to have some traditional herbal and culinary uses.

- Grows best in a full sun or dappled shade location, and does not like areas that get too wet in winter. A fantastic cottage garden plant with an abundance of long-lasting flowers. It is also a must-have in prairie-style planting and looks great when combined with ornamental grasses. It is also suited for coastal and Mediterranean-style gardens too due to its reasonable drought-tolerance when established. Its flowers can make a nice addition to cut flower arrangements.

- It is an absolute magnet for a wide range of pollinator species, from bees, hoverflies, to butterflies and everything in between.

- Height and Spread approx. 40-60cm x 40-60cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
