Ajuga 'Feathered Friends Cordial Canary'

A newer variety of Bugle with more tightly packed overlapping foliage that forms a dense evergreen ground cover with year-round interest. 

- Short spikes of vibrant blue flowers are produced above the foliage from late spring to early summer, with some sparse flowering occurring later in August/September.

- The evergreen foliage is smaller and more narrow than what is typically seen in Ajugas. The bright golden yellow foliage forms a dense ground cover, and keeps its colour year-round, providing a lovely backdrop to the blue flowers which sit above. 

- It thrives in dry, shaded areas, and so is perfect for planting and naturalising in shaded rockeries, banks and slopes, or under tree canopies where other plants might struggle. It works very well in pots long-term. 

- It can spread vigorously, so only plant in areas that your happy for it to potentially take over, or contain it by growing it in a pot. If planted in the ground, it can be easily managed by removing it from areas where it is not wanted.

- The flowers are very attractive to a wide range of pollinator species.

- Height and Spread approx. 10-20cm x 40-60cm.
