A stunning compact form of Allium that flowers later in the season than other varieties.
- Round drumstick heads of small, pink, densely packed star-shaped flowers are produced on slender upright stems from late June, typically lasting through July and into August.
- Its narrow, glossy green foliage forms a compact mound at the base of the plant. Unlike many other Allium varieties, 'Millennium' retains its foliage while in flower.
- Thrives best in full sun to dappled shade, and is considered reasonably low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established. Its compact form makes it a great addition for rockeries or pots, while also adding stunning colour and impact in cottage garden planting, mixed borders, raised beds and Mediterranean-style gardens. It also makes an excellent cut flower, in both fresh and dried arrangements.
- Like other Alliums, this is an absolute magnet for all kinds of pollinators. At any time you will find it swarmed with bees, hoverflies, butterflies, and more!
- Height and Spread approx. 40-60cm x 40-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
