A compact, semi-dwarf Astilbe that is part of the 'music series', a collection of Astilbes with good hardiness, disease resistance and a higher tolerance for sun and drought conditions (within reason!).
- Raspberry pink feathery plumes of flowers are produced from mid summer until August/September, which are borne on upright stems that sit above the foliage.
- The signature fern-like dark green foliage forms a dense mound beneath the flowers.
- This plant thrives best in moist soils in semi-shaded areas. It also grows well in deep shade, however this may result in less flowers. It is a fantastic choice for softening shaded beds, woodland underplanting and pond margins. This variety has a better tolerance for full sun locations, but will need to be kept sufficiently watered. It works great in pots, and also makes an excellent cut flower in both dried and freshly cut arrangements.
- The flowers will attract a wide range of pollinator species, including bees and butterflies.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
