Astilbe Light Pink

The exact variety of this Astilbe isn't known, as it has been lifted and divided from the home garden. But it is lovely and compact in its form, and would be a fantastic addition to any garden space!

- From late June into autumn, an abundance of elegant feathery plumes, light pink in colour, are produced on sturdy upright stems. These make beautiful cut flowers, in either fresh or dried arrangements.

- The flowers spike above a lush, compact mound of very attractive, deeply divided, ferny foliage that is dark green in colour. 

- Astilbes are a fantastic plant for damp soils, pond margins and shade beds, perfect for woodland planting or anywhere with a bit of shelter from hot afternoon sun, providing the soil doesn't dry out. It can also be kept in pots, if sufficiently sheltered and watered.

- The flowers will attract bees and butterflies, amongst a wide range of other pollinator species.

- Height and Spread approx. 60cm x 60cm. 

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
