This Astilbe has been lifted and divided from the home garden, so the exact variety isn't known. But, as all Astilbes do, it has a lovely compact habit with a bushy mound of foliage that thrives in shade as well as full sun.

- From late June into autumn, spikes of feathery pink plumes are produced in abundance, that sit above the foliage on upright stems. These make beautiful cut flowers, in either fresh or dried arrangements.

- Dark green foliage has a soft, fern-like texture and appearance. Leaves are deeply divided, and form a very tidy yet dense clump.

- A fantastic plant that thrives in damp soils and preferably semi- to deep-shade, making it an ideal plant to soften pond margins, shade beds, woodland planting under tree canopies, or even in pots if kept in a sheltered area. It is good for cut flower arrangements too, either dried or freshly cut.

- The flowers will attract bees and butterflies, amongst a wide range of other pollinator species.

- Height and Spread approx. 60cm x 60cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
