Astrantia major 'Pink Pride'

A hardy, low-maintenance clump-forming herbaceous perennial with a reliably long flowering time.

- Soft pink pincushion flowers are produced in clusters on upright, sturdy stems from late June onwards, and will continue flowering into autumn if faded flowers are deadheaded regularly. 

- The mid-green foliage forms lush, tidy clumps beneath the flowers. 

- Suitable for any full sun and partially shaded areas. It can also grow in deep shade, however the colour in the flower can be significantly weakened with less sunlight. A classic cottage garden plant that will also work well in any flower bed, raised bed or mixed border, wildlife garden, naturalistic planting, as well as in dappled shade under tree canopies. It can also be used as a cut flower, as flowers can dry and last for a long time in arrangements. 

- Flowers will attract a wide range of pollinators.

- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 40-60cm.
