Astrantia major 'Roma'

A reliable clump-forming herbaceous perennial suitable for a wide range of garden spaces.

- From early summer, Soft pink pincushion flowers are produced on wiry stems above its tidy mound of mid-green foliage, and will continue flowering into autumn if faded flowers are deadheaded regularly. 

- Suitable for full sun and partially shaded areas, it can grow well in any cottage garden or mixed border, as well as in dappled shade under tree canopies. 

- A fantastic option that will benefit a wide range of pollinators due to its prolific blooms and long flowering time. 

- Can also be used as a cut flower, as flowers can dry and last for a long time in arrangements.
