Athyrium niponicum 'Metallicum'

Otherwise known as Japanese Painted Fern, this small to medium sized deciduous fern gets its name from the stunning vibrant colours of its fronds. 

- From mid to late spring, fronds uncurl to show off their stunningly vibrant silver-grey foliage, highlighted with a magenta purple midrib and veins, giving it an overall frosted appearance.

- This shade-loving fern will brighten up any woodland or shaded garden bed, and will remain bright and vibrant even in deep shade. Can also be grown in a pot if kept sheltered and sufficiently watered.

- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 30-45cm. 

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
