A striking semi-evergreen, clump-forming grass with autumnal shades and very soft, delicate foliage. Also goes by the name Anemanthele lessoniana (but harder to pronounce and spell!).
- The long, narrow blades are slightly arching, creating an elegant flow and movement. Olive green foliage becomes streaked with yellow, red and orange as the season progresses. Semi-evergreen to evergreen, and would benefit from a spring prune back.
- Sprays of airy purple-brown flower heads are produced in summer, which develop into feathery seed heads later in the autumn.
- Perfect for full sun or dappled shade, it will tolerate drought once established. An ideal grass for prairie-style gardens, mixed perennial borders, coastal gardens, rockeries and containers.
- Is known to self-seed prolifically, so it can spread well throughout an area. Unwanted plants can be easily dug out and removed.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-90cm x 30-50cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
