Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Overdam'

A clump-forming, variegated deciduous grass with an upright architectural habit, perfect for creating structure in raised beds and formal planting, or for planting in drifts in prairie-style gardens.

- This variety is recognised for its stunning variegated foliage, its slender green leaves with yellow stripe margins initially, lightening to cream as the flowers emerge.

- Pencil-thin feathery flower spikes are produced from early summer, starting a purple-bronze colour, turning to an off-cream before going light brown in the autumn. This will create long-lasting interest that will retain through the winter months.

- Perfect for full sun or semi-shade, its architectural upright form is known for creating stunning focal points in the garden year-round.

- Should be cut back to 4-6 inches in March/April to allow for lush fresh growth for the upcoming growing season.
