An attractive, upright vase-shaped sedge with beautiful contrasting foliage.
- It has long, narrow, finely textured leaves, rigid and upright before arching elegantly at the tips. The foliage is coppery red to brown and maintains this colour year round, which provides a stark contrast to surrounding greens and flowering perennials.
- Insignificant small brown flowers are produced on upright spikes in July.
- A versatile grass that can be grown virtually anywhere, but prefers full sun where possible. Drought tolerant once established, it is a great choice for pots, rockeries and coastal gardens. It is also used to provide structure, texture and contrast to cottage gardens, prairie-style plantings, raised beds and mixed borders.
- Comb through the foliage in spring to remove any browning or dead leaves, or if needed, the plant can be cut back in late spring to allow for a full new fresh head of growth.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-90cm x 60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
