Carex comans 'Amazon Mist'

A low-maintenance evergreen grass with soft, wispy foliage that forms a compact arching mound. 

- The narrow, arching foliage is silver green in colour, and slightly curls at the tips, giving the appearance of a lush blonde head of hair!

- In summer, upright stalks of inconspicuous small brown flowers spike above the foliage. 

- Providing year round interest, the arching mounding habit of this grass looks very well in pots and edging raised beds. It also works as a tidy ground cover in mixed perennial borders. It thrives in full sun to dappled shade, and likes moist, well draining soil. Also very suitable for coastal gardens and rockeries. 

- Comb through the foliage in spring to remove any browning or dead leaves, or if needed, the plant can be cut back in late spring to allow for a full new fresh head of growth. 

- Height and Spread approx. 30-50cm x 40-60cm. 

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
