A tough, evergreen perennial sedge with a tufted, upright, arching habit.
- Long, slim olive-green leaves turn to attractive autumnal shades of warm copper orange as the season progresses, that holds well into the winter months. The colour is particularly vibrant in a full sun location. Its evergreen foliage gives year round interest and provides a nice contrast against surrounding greens and flowering perennials.
- In summer, insignificant small brown flowers are produced on upright spikes.
- Can be grown in a wide range of garden habitats in full sun or dappled shade. It is reasonably drought tolerant once established, and its colourful foliage contrasts beautifully with surrounding plants, while also adding a soft texture. Perfect for cottage gardens, prairie-style plantings, rockeries, coastal gardens, pots, raised beds and mixed borders!
- Comb through the foliage in spring to remove any browning or dead leaves, or if needed, the plant can be cut back in late spring to allow for a full new fresh head of growth.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
