A cultivar of the much-loved perennial cornflower. A long flowering, reliable, compact perennial with a mat-forming spreading habit.
- Appropriately named, two-toned snow white flowers with vibrant, amethyst centres are produced in abundance from late May/June onwards. If regularly deadheaded, flowering can continue right throughout summer and into autumn. Alternatively, the whole plant can be cut back around mid July to encourage a fresh new flush of foliage and flowers.
- Grey-green foliage is covered in silvery hairs, and form dense, compact carpeting clumps that can help act as a weed suppressant.
- Thrives in full sun but can also tolerate partial shade. It is a versatile plant that grows well in most garden types. The perfect addition to cottage gardens, mixed borders, coastal areas, rockeries and pots. It is also a popular choice for cut flower arrangements.
- Will draw in a wide range of pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies, throughout the whole growing season.
- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 45-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
