A reliable, hardy, long-flowering, low-maintenance perennial commonly used in wild gardens and cottage-style plantings.

- Large, very attractive deep blue to violet spidery flowers with red to deep purple centres are produced from May and continue throughout the summer. Flowers and foliage can be cut back in July to encourage a second flush of flowers that will see through the autumn.

- Its dense grey-green foliage can form decent carpeting clumps that can help act as a weed suppressant.

- Best suited to full sun but can tolerate partial shade, it grows well in most garden types including rockery and coastal gardens. Tolerant of exposure and winter cold, it is a very hardy plant that can spread by seed or stolons, and so is good for naturalising in an area if allowed.

- Flowers are hugely attractive to a wide range of pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies.

- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 45-60cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
