Coreopsis rosea 'American Dream'

An upright, compact perennial with an elegant yet impactful long-lasting flowering time.

- Dainty, daisy-like flowers with rich pink petals and yellow centres are produced in abundance from June until October. The flowers are borne singularly on light and airy stems that allow the blooms to kind of bounce in the breeze. 

- Very fine, fern-like foliage makes for a delicate dark green backdrop to the plentiful flowers above.

- A beautiful addition to mixed perennial and shrub borders, with its compact forming making it a perfect space-filler for the front of beds and in-filling gaps between other plants. Reasonably drought tolerant, it is commonly seen in prairie-style plantings, and can also work well in rockeries to add a bit of structure. Long-lasting flowers are great as cut flowers too!

- Old flowers can be deadheaded around mid-July to encourage new flush of colour for the autumn. 

- The flowers will attract a wide range of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 30-45cm.
