A newer variety of Chocolate Cosmos with larger flowers and better hardiness - however it will still need some winter protection from around -5C or thereabouts.
- From June to October, masses of vanilla-chocolate scented velvety flowers, cherry-red in colour, are produced on wiry stems. Regular deadheading will prolong the flowering time later into the autumn.
- Its blue-green foliage forms a low, tidy mound beneath the flowers.
- An ideal plant for a full sun, well-drained sheltered area. A very good plant for pots due to its long flowering time, and also makes for a great cut flower. It can work well in coastal and Mediterranean-style gardens, or in sunny rockeries and borders.
- The flowers will attract a wide range of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
- Height and Spread approx. 40-60cm x 40-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
