A colourful, compact, upright perennial that provides late flowers throughout the autumn months.

- Cerise pink to magenta flowers are produced on strong upright stems, forming a mass of vibrant colour from late July until the first frost. Regular deadheading will ensure plenty of flowers that will last until the frost.

- Mid-green leaves are slightly hairy, and form a tidy mound at the base of the plant.

- These really require very well draining soil, and dislike areas that get too wet during the winter months. They thrive best in hot, sunny areas with sandy or gritty soil, such as coastal and gravel gardens, prairie-style planting and in pots. It looks fantastic in full sun mixed borders and raised beds, and can also be used as cut flowers.

- Adding a layer of sand or grit to the base of the planting hole may help with improving drainage and increase its chances of surviving the winter.

- The large orange-brown cone in the centre of each flower provides an ideal landing platform for all kinds of pollinators, appealing more to butterflies and bees.

- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 40-60cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
