A compact, evergreen, spreading, spring-flowering perennial with interesting foliage that forms an attractive weed-supressing ground cover and will grow well in most locations.
- From late March until May, delicate sprays of small orange flowers with yellow centres are produced on wiry stems, which contrast nicely with the surrounding foliage.
- Its mid-green leaves are tinted red in spring and autumn, and form a lush dense ground cover. Foliage is evergreen, but may benefit from being cut back in spring before it flowers, as this will encourage fresh new foliage for the growing season ahead.
- Grows in most areas, but is best known for its tolerance of shade and dappled shade as underplanting woodland areas. It can however also withstand full sun locations, and can be reasonably drought tolerant once established.
- Flowers will attract early pollinators such as bumblebees and other bee species.
- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 45-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
