A vigorous mat-forming perennial that can quickly spread (although still easy to control), acting as a weed suppressant in many garden spaces.
- Masses of magenta pink flowers are held above the foliage on upright stems from late May until July/August, forming a carpet of vibrant colour.
- The rounded, deeply divided lush green foliage is very aromatic, and turns bright shades of red in the autumn, adding additional interest when the flowers are starting to die down.
- Thrives as a ground cover in full sun and semi-shade, and can tolerate both damp and wet soils. It can also grow well in deeply shaded areas, however this may reduce the flowering impact slightly.
- Its flowers are very attractive to bees, butterflies, moths and a wide range of other beneficial pollinators.
- Height and Spread approx. 40-60cm x 60-80cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
