As we have lifted and divided these from the home garden, the exact varieties of these Geranium phaeum is not known, so we have just named them as 'Hybrid Mix'. The flower colour varies slightly from light to dark shades of pink, to deep maroon purples.
- Its dainty flowers are flat, with its petals pointing back. It has a pink to purple central ring, from which the anthers and stigma protrude out from, giving the flowers an almost dart-like appearance. Flowers start from late spring and continue until late summer.
- Its lobed mid-green foliage form clumps in an upright, spreading habit. The flowers are produced in sprays which rise above the foliage.
- Perfect for full sun or semi-shade, where the soil does not dry out too much. It also performs very well in shady areas as a ground cover under trees and shrubs. A fantastic plant for herbaceous borders, raised beds, woodland planting and wild gardens.
- Can be cut back after its first flush of flowers, and it will repeat for another display for the autumn.
- Its long flowering time and profuse flowers make it very attractive to a wide range of pollinators.
