Helenium 'Mardi Gras'

Like all Heleniums, this is a cottage garden classic, adding stunningly fiery autumnal tones from late summer onwards.

- Its daisy-like flowers vary in colour, from vibrant shades of golden yellow and burnt orange with fiery red streaks, changing as the season progresses. The vibrant petals surround an orange-brown central cone.

- Deadhead flowers regularly to encourage repeat flowering that will last late into the autumn. Can be cut back after the first frost, or old flowers/seed heads can be left on for some additional winter interest, and so cut back in spring.

- Suitable for any full sun location provided there is well-draining soil, and will also grow well in dappled shade. It will add an eye-catching splash of colour to mixed beds, perennial borders, prairie-style planting, coastal gardens, to name a few! It also makes for a great cut flower.

- Very impactful when used in mass planting with a mix of other contrasting perennials.

- The flowers will attract a wide range of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 45-60cm.
