Helenium 'Rauchtopas'

This eye-catching Helenium stands out from other varieties as it grows nice and tall, stretching up to 1.5m. A must-have for adding height to those sunny borders!

-. From July until September/October, golden yellow flowers with beautiful contrasting rusty brick-red undersides are produced on sturdy upright stems. The red underside are made obvious as the petals delicately turn slightly upward. 

- Deadhead flowers regularly to encourage repeat flowering that will last into the autumn. Can be cut back after the first frost, or old flowers/seed heads can be left on for some additional winter interest, and so cut back in spring.

- A fantastic plant for full-sun beds and borders, with its vibrant flowers contrasting with surrounding plants and adding impact, height and drama! Also works well in prairie-style planting, and makes an excellent cut flower. 

- The flowers are highly attractive to a wide range of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

- Height and Spread approx. 120-150cm x 60-80cm.
