Hemerocallis 'Green Flutter'

A semi-evergreen variety of Daylily said to be one of the 'greenest' flower colour in the Hemerocallis variety range. Very floriferous and more compact than other more well-known varieties.

- Canary-yellow trumpet flowers with green throats are produced on upright spikes which sit above the foliage. The petal segments have slightly frilled edges.

- Aptly named, each Daylily flower typically only lasts 24 hours, but every day there are new buds ready to open to replace the blooms of the previous day, repeating for weeks on end. Regular deadheading will prolong its flowering period.

- Strappy mid-green grass-like foliage forms arching clumps beneath the flowers.

- Suitable for any full sun or dappled shade location. Due to its compact size, 'Green Flutter' is especially suited for growing in pots. Daylilys are reliable and well-known additions to cottage gardens and mixed borders. They are drought-tolerant once established, making them a suitable plant for coastal gardens and rockeries. 

- The flowers will attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
