Difficult to get a photo to do it justice, this variety of Coral Bells has stunning almost-black leaves that will provide a striking contrast against any surrounding colours.
- In mid summer, sprays of ivory white flowers are borne on sturdy upright stems.
- Its main attraction is the glossy foliage - deep deep green-purple to almost black in colour, forming neat mounds that are easy to maintain. The dark foliage will really contrast beautifully with surrounding greens, or flowers of any colour.
- Most adapted to semi-shade and shaded areas, as it may become too easily scorched in a full sun, exposed location. It grows very well in pots, and can also be used as edging or low planting in beds and borders amongst other perennials for colour and contrast.
- Flowers will attract a range of beneficial pollinators.
- Will retain some foliage throughout the winter, but by spring will become flopped and tired looking. The plant can be cut back in March/April, as fresh new foliage will be just starting to emerge.
- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 30-45cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
