This variety of coral bells is best known for its deep red to burgundy wine foliage that forms in a typical neat mounding habit.
- Throughout summer, delicate sprays of airy white to pink flowers spikes are borne on bright red stems which compliment the foliage.
- This variety is aptly named 'Fire Chief' due to its gently lobed, attractive foliage is deep red in colour, darkening to burgundy as the season progresses.
- A great plant for adding foliage colour and drama to semi-shade or full sun areas, providing it is sufficiently watered. Perfect for pots, edging beds and borders, or for planting in amongst other perennials for fantastic, long-lasting colour and contrast.
- Flowers will attract a range of beneficial pollinator species.
- Will retain some foliage throughout the winter, but by spring will become flopped and tired looking. The plant can be cut back in March/April, as fresh new foliage will be just starting to emerge.
- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 30-45cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
