A compact semi-evergreen to evergreen perennial with very attractive, colourful foliage.
- In July and August, upright spikes of creamy-white star-shaped flowers emerge above the foliage.
- Its vibrant foliage is silver in colour, contrasting beautifully with maroon to purple veins and underside of the leaves. It has a very tidy, compact mounding habit.
- Grows best in semi-shade to shade, but can tolerate some full sun areas if it is sufficiently watered and sheltered from scorching sun. It is a stunning plant for keeping in pots, as well as edging beds and borders, or for planting in amongst other perennials for colour and contrast. The vibrant foliage can easily brighten up any shaded bed or dark corner.
- Flowers will attract a range of beneficial pollinators.
- Will retain some foliage throughout the winter, but by spring will become flopped and tired looking. The plant can be cut back in March/April, as fresh new foliage will be just starting to emerge.
- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 30-45cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
