A cool and compact variety of Hosta with a low clumping habit.
- In mid to late summer, lavender-purple flowers are produced on upright spikes that rise above the foliage.
- Heart-shaped blue-green architectural leaves are thick and tough, and form an attractive ground cover throughout summer and autumn.
- Grows best in semi-shade or shaded woodland-type areas, but can also be very successfully grown in pots or more full-sun positions, if protected from drought and sun scorch.
- Flowers will attract bees and other beneficial pollinators.
- Watch out for slug and snail damage - even though this variety has thicker leaves which are not as appealing to these pests, they are still never fully off the menu!
- Height and Spread approx. 30cm x 30cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
