Hosta 'Rainforest Sunrise'

A stunning, very compact form of Hosta with a low spreading, clumping habit. 

- From late June until August, lavender-purple flowers are produced on upright spikes, rising above the foliage. 

- The lush foliage is rounded and cupped, and yellow green in colour when it first emerges. The leaves then mature to a radiant yellow with narrow blue-green margins.

- The perfect ground cover plant to bring that jungle vibe to any semi-shaded or shaded area of the garden. It will brightening up areas under tree canopies, pondside margins, water feature surrounds, or for those awkward corners that don't allow much light in. They can also be grown in a pot very successfully providing it gets some shelter from direct scorching afternoon sun. Growing in pots can also help reduce the risk of damage from slug and snails. 

- Flowers will attract bees and other beneficial pollinators. 

- Susceptible to damage from slugs and snails, so protective measures may be needed. 

- Height and Spread approx. 20-30cm x 30-50cm.
