A short-lived, clump forming perennial that is low maintenance and very easy to grow.
- From mid to late June, tall stems shoot upright and produce masses of flat snow white flowers that last right throughout summer and autumn.
- Silver-grey foliage is velvety soft to touch, and contrasts beautifully with surrounding greens and flowers of other plants.
-This plant will grow pretty much everywhere that gets some sun and with well draining soil. It looks its best in full sun locations, where the leaves will be most vibrant, but can also tolerate partial shade very well. It is a fantastic plant for long-lasting flowers and will make an impact in any cottage garden, prairie-style planting, mixed border, and coastal garden. It also makes an excellent cut flower.
- Flowers are hugely attractive to bees and other beneficial pollinators.
- It can freely self-seed if allowed, and so, even though short-lived, will guarantee flowers every year from the young new plants that will always be emerging. Unwanted plants can be easily removed, or spent flowers can be cut back before they go to seed to reduce the spread.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-90cm x 45-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
