Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker'

A vigorous, resilient, clump forming perennial with striking foliage that can grow in a wide range of garden conditions, providing the soil does not dry out too much.

- Bright yellow flowers top the tall, leafy stems from late June into the autumn, which contrast beautifully against the foliage beneath. 

- Elongated, pointed leaves start off in spring as a rich, plum-purple colour, developing into a deep green with purple tones over the summer months, before finishing the season with coppery red hues.

- Perfect for most full sun and semi-shaded positions, and thrives in boggy damp soils making it a stunning pond marginal plant. It is tolerant of a wide range of soil types, and so would be a good addition to most garden types and locations. It can be grown in shaded areas too, however the purple tones in the foliage will not be as prominent. Can also be used for foliage and/or flowering interest in cut flower arrangements.

- Flowers will attract a wide range of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
