Miscanthus sinensis 'Dread Locks'

This seems to be a relatively new variety of Miscanthus, as I can't see much information about this specific variety online. What a name though! I'm sure, like all varieties of Miscanthus, its going to be a fantastic performer and a real statement grass. 

- Its foliage will form quite a substantial rounded mound, requiring a bit of room to grow. Miscanthus are often considered semi-evergreen, so may keep some of its greenish colour as it gradually turns to more autumnal shades of yellow and orange in the winter months.

- Creamy-pink feathery flowers emerge from red buds from late July onwards, lasting throughout autumn and into winter. Flower heads catch the light beautifully, and should be left alone to create long-lasting interest that will retain through the winter months, before cutting the whole plant back in spring.

- Perfect for full sun or semi-shade, its architectural foliage colour and large mounding form will create noticeable focal points and texture in the garden year-round.

- Should be cut back in March/April to allow for lush fresh growth for the upcoming growing season.

- Height and Spread approx. 150-180cm x 100-120cm.
