A clump-forming cottage garden classic with very distinctive flowers that are an absolute magnet for pollinators. Also goes by the more common names of Bergamot and Bee Balm.
- Attractive and showy bright pink spidery-like tubular flowers are produced in clusters on top of upright stems from late June until September. Deadhead regularly for best flowering results.
- Its bright green foliage is highly aromatic, and can be used to flavour drinks, garnish food or picked for pot-pourri.
- Best grown in a sunny, sheltered spot, it is a fantastic, eye-catching addition to cottage gardens, wildlife gardens, sensory and prairie-style gardens, in mixed borders and raised beds, coastal gardens, and also makes for a very good cut flower.
- Highly attractive to a wide range of pollinator species, including honey bees, hoverflies, bumblebees and butterflies.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-90cm x 40-60cm.
