Similar to the closely related Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant', 'Purrsian Blue' gives all the same stunning features but in a tidier, more compact form.

- From May until November, an explosion of striking blue flowers are produced in spikes that sit above the foliage, forming neat rounded clumps of colour.

- Its foliage is highly aromatic, particularly when pruned or crushed. The small grey-green leaves are soft to touch, and are densely packed beneath the flowers.

- Flowers generally have gone over by mid-July, in which case the whole plant can be cut back to 1-2 inches. This will encourage a fresh flush of flowers and foliage that will see through the remainder of the growing season.

- Suitable for any full sun location provided there is well-draining soil, and will also grow well in dappled shade. It is drought tolerant once established, and will also grow well in coastal conditions. With shorter sprigs to other closely related Nepeta varieties, it can still work well as cut flowers in smaller arrangements. Its compact size makes it perhaps a better choice for containers and rockery beds than other Nepeta varieties.

- The flowers are an absolute magnet for many pollinators, particularly a wide range of bees.

- Your cat/neighbourhood cat will be sure to thank you for this addition too, as our feline friends find Nepeta highly irresistible, and can often be found rolling around in them before entering the therapeutic 'zen' phase that soon follows.

- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 60-80cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
