A stunning variety of Evening Primrose, which gets its name from the captivating fragrance from its flowers in the evening time. Formerly known as Oenothera tetragona.
- Saucer-shaped, golden yellow attractive flowers from late June until late August, which will bring vibrancy to your garden with a mass of colour along with a beautiful evening scent.
- Flowers typically only last for one day, but are plentiful in numbers, so new flowers are constantly being produced to ensure a strong impact throughout the summer.
- Blue-green lanceolate leaves are arranged on reddish green stems, growing in a bushy, spreading habit.
- Perfect for any raised bed, mixed border, or even pots in full sun, particularly around seating areas where the fragrance can be admired. Also suitable for coastal and Mediterranean-style gardens as it has a good drought tolerance and can withstand wind exposure once established.
- Good for attracting bees due to its bright coloured flowers.
