An upright, slender deciduous grass with a tidy clumping habit. A fantastic plant for adding structure and shimmering movement to flower beds in the late autumn and winter months.
- Attractive blue-green foliage forms neat upright clumps, which can take on some reddish tones in the autumn. It can be slow to get going earlier in the season, but responds best when the warmer summer temperatures kick in.
- In the autumn, stunning sprays of tiny glittery, shimmery copper-purple flowers are produced on airy spikes that sit above the foliage.
- A really lovely ornamental grass that thrives best in full sun areas that do not get too wet in the winter. Perfect for cottage gardens, mixed planting, prairie-style beds and coastal gardens, it can create a stunning focal point in the garden as it progresses through each season. The hazy flowers are great in both fresh and dried cut flower arrangements.
- Should be cut back to 4-6 inches in March/April to allow for lush fresh growth for the upcoming growing season.
- Height and Spread approx. 100-150cm x 60-100cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
