A reliable, clump-forming cottage garden classic with a compact habit and attractive, Foxglove-like flowers
- From mid June until September, masses of tubular grape-purple flowers with white throats are produced on sturdy upright stems that sit just above the foliage. Regular deadheading will prolong flowering time into late autumn.
- Its slender semi-evergreen leaves form a lush mound beneath the flowers, and retain some winter interest.
- Perfect for a full sun or semi-shade location, and requires well draining soil that does not get too wet in the winter months. An ideal plant for long-lasting flowers in raised beds, pots, mixed borders, cottage and wildlife gardens, and Mediterranean-style gardens. It can make an excellent cut flower too!
- The flowers are very attractive to a wide range of pollinator species.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 40-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
