Also known as Cape Fuchsia, this bushy/shrubby perennial is very long-flowering, evergreen, and can spread quite vigorously if allowed.
- From July until October, clusters of red-orange tubular flowers with a yellow throat are produced in abundance on strong, well branched stems.
- Its lush dark green leaves are evergreen, and form a dense bushy mound which contrasts beautifully against the bright flowers.
- Suitable for a sheltered site in both full sun and dappled shade, although flowering will be much more prolific with more sunlight. A great choice for cottage gardens, raised beds, rockeries, coastal and Mediterranean gardens. It can also be kept in pots on balconies or patios.
- Flowers are very attractive to a wide range of pollinator species.
- Can be pruned back to 4-6 inches in March/April, when temperatures start to improve, to allow for a fresh flush of new growth each year.
- Height and Spread approx. 90-120cm x 9-120cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
