A lovely compact, clumping perennial that is great for any shaded area. Also known as Jacob's Ladder.
- From May to July, clusters of lilac-blue flowers with protruding yellow stamens are produced on strong upright stems.
- The deep green foliage forms a lush mound beneath the flowers. Leaves are fern-like in appearance, arranged in pairs along the shoots which give it its name 'Jacob's Ladder'.
- Suited best to semi-shade and deep shade areas, but can also tolerate some full sun positions providing it does not dry out too much and has shelter from scorching afternoon sun. Works well in any shade bed, rockery, raised bed and mixed borders. Said to be deer and rabbit resistant.
- Its flowers will attract a wide range of pollinator species.
- Height and Spread approx. 40-60cm x 40-60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
