A very pretty, delicate rhizomatous perennial perfect for shaded woodland planting or for boggy areas.
- In late April and May, long, upright, arching stems bear clusters of bell-shaped, pendent cream flowers tipped with green, which later form into deep purple berries.
- Its attractive blue-green foliage grows up and outwards from the arching stems.
- It can naturalise and spread well in cool, sheltered areas. It is best suited to semi-shade under tree canopies, but can tolerate full shade and also full sun, provided the soil does not dry out.
- Can also be grown as a marginal pond plant, or in boggy wet soils.
- Flowers will attract bees and other beneficial pollinators.
- Height and Spread approx. 90cm x 60-90cm.
- Harmful if eaten.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
