Polystichum tsus-simense

Korean Rock Fern, a very hardy, clump-forming evergreen fern with a tidy, compact growing habit.

- The upright fronds are a lush deep green in colour, with contrasting black stems and shimmering silver-white scales. 

- Requires a shady spot, either partial or deep shade, as sun tends to dry the plant out and scorch the leaves. Very good for pondside margins, shaded rockeries, woodland areas and shade beds, and can also be grown in a pot if kept sufficiently sheltered and watered. It can be very impactful when planted amongst early spring bulbs. 

- Its evergreen nature means it will retain its foliage for the winter months, but it will benefit from a cut back in spring to allow for the fresh new foliage to emerge. 

- Height and Spread approx. 30-45cm x 45-60cm. 

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
