A hybrid form of Primula, crossed between P. bulleyana and P. beesiana, with characteristics more similar to P. bulleyana (yes - it is confusing!).
- From late spring through early summer, very pretty colourful flowers are arranged in tiers along strong vertical stems. Flowers can range in colour, usually pale yellow to orange in colour but occasionally including some light pink to red.
- Its large, semi-evergreen mid-green foliage forms a neat rosette at the base of the plant.
- A beautiful eye-catching plant that thrives in damp soils and prefers semi-shade, but will also grow well in full sun provided it does not dry out. It is an ideal plant for shade beds, woodland planting under light tree canopies, pondside margins, bog gardens, shaded rockeries, or even in pots if kept in a sheltered area.
- The flowers will attract bees and butterflies, amongst a wide range of other pollinator species.
- Will self-seed and naturalise in an area if allowed, and plants may hybridise with each other, so if different colours are planted together, the seeded plants can vary slightly in their flower colours.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 40cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
