Vial's Primrose is a striking, eye-catching compact perennial that is often found as a staple plant in show gardens, and for good reason!
- Upright stems produce deep crimson buds that open out into conical spikes of two-toned lilac pink flowers topped with red from late May until July.
- Semi-evergreen to evergreen foliage is mid-green in colour, long and rounded in shape, and forms a neat rosette at the base of the plant.
- A stunning plant that can make a real impact when planted in drifts through beds with contrasting flowers. It thrives in damp soils and shaded conditions, but can also very much tolerate full sun provided it does not dry out. The perfect plant for pond margins, woodland planting, shade beds, bog gardens, shaded rockeries, pots, and in mixed beds between other flowering perennials and shrubs.
- The flowers are very attractive to a wide range of other pollinator species.
- Height and Spread approx. 30-50cm x 30cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
