A large, bold clump-forming perennial with architectural foliage that resembles leaves of a Horse Chestnut tree.

- Large sprays of tiny, cream to pink, star-shaped flowers are produced from deep pink to red buds, borne on strong, upright red stems from June until August. Seed heads can look well in dried flower arrangements in the autumn.

- Its textured palmate leaves are deeply divided, rough to touch, and form a robust clump beneath the flowers. Leaves are bronze in colour when they first emerge, developing to deep green, and then getting hints of bronze and red as the temperatures cool in the autumn as it moves into its winter dormancy.

- A statement plant that grows best in damp soils in semi shade, but will grow in full sun if it doesn't dry out too much. It large leaves can measure 60cm+ across, so it will need room to grow.  Its suitable for pond margins, woodland and bog gardens, or mixed borders that require some height and added texture..

- The flowers will attract bees and other pollinators.

- Height and Spread approx. 120-150cm x 150cm.

- Supplied in a 9cm pot
