A big and bold versatile perennial with strikingly large, robust architectural foliage that will surely make a statement, but should be allowed good space to grow.
- Large, upright conical sprays of tiny cream to pink flowers are produced on tall stems from June until August.
- The broad foliage competes well against the flowers to be the main attractive. Deep green, palmate leaves are highly textured, deeply lobed, leathery to touch, and just LARGE. It forms a huge dense mound, and will certainly catch your eye from a distance.
- A versatile plant that will grow in most areas if there is space for it. It thrives best in damp soils and in shade or semi shade, but will grow in full sun if it doesn't dry out or get too much hot, scorching afternoon sun. Its an impressive pond margin plant, while also making a fantastic impact in woodland and bog gardens.
- The flowers will attract bees and other pollinators.
