Another Salvia we just couldn't resist - Lemon Light is a little bit more compact than other Salvia forms, but just as floriferous and impactful!
- Starting in June and continuing right through until the first frost, this shrubby sage becomes completely covered in gorgeous pale lemon yellow flowers.
- The pale green foliage is semi-evergreen and strongly scented, making it a good option for sensory gardens while also retaining some winter interest.
- Ideal for pretty much any full sun location with well-draining soil, sheltered from strong exposed winds. A fantastic plant for coastal and Mediterranean-style gardens, cottage gardens, mixed borders, raised beds, and in prairie-style planting. It's perfect for keeping in pots long-term, making it an ideal balcony or patio plant where the flowers and scent can be admired.
- This plant will be buzzing with bees, hoverflies, butterflies and more all season long, as its flowers are highly attractive to pollinators!
- Plants can remain in their shrubby form, but it is better to pruned back hard in spring to keep stems young with fresh new growth that will flower more prolifically. Sometimes can be susceptible to very cold winter frosts, so protection may be needed (perhaps below -5C or so).
- Height and Spread approx. 50-80cm x 50-80cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
