An old time classic, and a staple in almost every show garden, Salvia nemerosa 'Caradonna' is an absolute show-stopper with its attractive, long lasting flowers that will bring vibrancy to your garden.
- From June until the first frost, stunning violet-blue flowers are borne on slender, upright black stems. The vibrant flowers will contrast beautifully with surrounding perennials and greenery from foliage plants and shrubs.
- The aromatic grey-green foliage forms tidy, dense mounds that are easily maintained.
- Flowers will become spent, usually around mid-July, when the whole plant can be cut back to about 2 inches, encouraging a fresh flush of flowers and foliage that will see through the remainder of the growing season.
- Suitable for any full sun location provided there is well-draining soil, and will also grow well in dappled shade. It is reasonably drought tolerant, and will also grow well in coastal conditions.
- The flowers are a magnet for pollinators, specifically a wide range of bees and butterflies.
- Height and Spread approx. 60-80cm x 60cm.
- Supplied in a 9cm pot
